Still in its original packaging and pristine! Here are 6 balls of 100% cotton in a DK weight cabled construction. Strong and supple, with a smooth sheen and lovely hand, this is ideal for knitting or crochet. When Lewiscraft went out of business many years ago, I bought up as much of their house label yarn as I could. Since then, I've turned it into afghans, kids' clothes, toys and sweaters, and this is all that remains. Grab it now -- there isn't any more! Each of these balls is 50g and approximately 95 meters. That puts it at the heavier end for a DK but the ball band gives a recommended gauge of 22 stitches/10cm, so that tracks. I have included a close-up of a knitted swatch for an indication of performance at the stated gauge. The total for this lot is 300g and 570 meters. This is certainly plenty for a baby or child's sweater. It might also be enough for an adult size sleeveless top, depending on the size and pattern chosen. It was hard to capture this colour accurately. It is a true light pink -- not at all peachy or coral. My close-ups of the ball band come closest to the true colour.
