Vintage shp pottery vase / reed defuser

This is a beautiful hand-made vintage pottery piece that can be used as a vase / oil lamp / reed defuser or whatever you deem best. It started its life as an oil lamp. I know because when I bought it, it still had the remnants of the oil wick and glue from where the wick holder top went on. It has since been cleaned and enjoyed as the beautiful piece of art that it is. I don't know the makers' mark of "shp," but it is stamped on the side. It really is a work of mid-century art and a splendor.
