poeticthreads @whitebrandi Hey there! the wedgie is more fitted in the hip and thigh (flattering on the butt). The 501 fit is a little more relaxed in the waist and the other areas. People usually have to size down one size in 501 to get a tighter fit. you can order your normal size in the wedgie fit. This pair comes with a lil stretch too!

mwbyrnes @poeticthreads thank you so much! These are the style I want but the color I have is different so I’m not sure if they fit the same. Is the measurement of the waist you have listed the measurement from the website or one you took? If I order a 24 but need a 25 any chance I can exchange? The ones I have now are 24 but I know sometimes the color difference corresponds to a fit difference. Thanks 🙏🏼 😊

poeticthreads @mwbyrnes hi! I took the waist measurement. Unfortunately if they do not fit, Poshmark doesn’t offer a way to make exchanges but you can always re-posh them if they do not work for you. I totally get it about the wash and fit concern. If the fabric content on the pair you currently own match this pair, I would safely say they fit the same. This pair has a little bit of stretch to them so they can have a more forgiving fit. Most wedgie jeans are 100% cotton, non-stretch.
