@lexstaylor ooh, ok. Yes, the LV KA 45 has always seemed kinda a pointless bag. Too big for a daily bag, too small for an overnight bag. I prefer the 50, but it is kinda a PIA carrying now that we've got 4 way wheeling luggage. But, what's a girl to do? 🤷🏻♀️

@lexstaylor what year is it from? I can recognize the shorter serial number, but I always have to reference my Chanel serial number guide. Lol, it's not as easy to calculate in my head like LV or Hermès

@lexstaylor oh, what a coyinkydink! My LV Speedy 25 in Epi leather is a 1991 bag also. It's in immaculate condition, I dunno if the previous owner even used it, it's THAT good! But, I thunk I really need the 30. I'm 5'9" & have the LV Empreinte coin pouch/key chain & can't get it & my hand through the handles when in a rush. It took me years to find that exact bag in the color I wanted, & in EUC. It'll probably take years to find a 30. 🙄

I've heard the same complaints about the Kelly & Birkin 25s too. If you're taller, or eden if you're not, the handles aren't really sized for quick slipping your hand through. Lol, that's ok cause I'm more of big bag kinda gal anyways.

@rokinitbootik I'm a big bag lover too! Epi leather is beautiful. I personally think the speedy 25 is great as a bandouliere. The shoulder strap makes up for the small handles. And as for the Birkin, unless its an exotic leather, I think the 25 is too small. 30-35 is a perfect everyday size and great companion for traveling.

@lexstaylor yes, that's another thing I kinda don't like about the Epi Speedies, no shoulder strap.
I really, really want the black Epi Speedy 35 or 45 Julia Roberts carried in Notting Hill!! It has that perfect between a large bag & overnight size without looking ridiculous carrying it as a daily driver bag, ya know? Too bad Louis doesn't make the Speedy in Epi anymore & all those great colors (red, fuchsia, taxi yellow, etc) they had in Epi in the 90s 😩

@rokinitbootik Love that movie! Hope you can find that bag, I think she was using the 35. It seems like it would be a great overnight size. My absolute favorite epi leather is the black electric (it’s super durable) but I do love all the bright colors.

@lexstaylor yes, I've looked up the pics, but they're all blurry. It's the same exact bag as mine, only bigger. It probably was the 35, because I still have my Multicolor Speedy 30 from 2003 & they'd a big difference between that size bag & the 45. Hers looked more like a regular bag, not an overnight bag, but she was using it as an overnighter in the movie.
