hillmill61 l agree...silk is more durable than it looks! l launder mine in the washing machine on delicate and air dry. Florenz Zeigfeld is credited with outlining his dancers with silk underwear. When asked why since noone would see them reportedly replyed: ' Ah, but THEY will know they are wearing them '.

kcspicker15 @hillmill61 that’s interesting and I lived in Germany for 5 yrs and they launder all their silk and some of their wool there are actual settings on their washing machine for silk and wool. The point I’m trying to make is no matter how much polyester these designers use no matter what they do to it ITS NOT SILK they charge like it’s silk but it’s not and I think that’s sad. Anyway thanks for your comment. I’m going to see if I can find that quote ... ❤️
