twogenstyle Hi Jocelyn! I have really enjoyed the lighting kit you recommended and it has made taking photos so much easier! I could probably use some more mentoring if you have a chance for questions! I’ve been selling on Poshmark for several years now, and I still seem to struggle a bit with getting anything consistent. pink_kiwi @iainandmary Hi Mary! I’m glad the kit worked out! I know it’s not the best one you can get, but it’s pretty good, especially for the price. As for consistent sales, mine definitely aren’t that consistent either. And I’m still learning and figuring things out after over 7 years! Lol. I know there are people on here that get multiple sales a week or even in one day. And some know all about the algorithms.

pink_kiwi @iainandmary Unfortunately that’s not me. Lol. I tend to average maybe 2 or 3 sales a week. There are definitely weeks that are a lot slower. The fall and winter seem to have been the better seasons in the past. May be because it’s colder and more people are inside? Or buying for the holidays? Although this year summer seemed to be the best so far. It’s definitely hard to always predict when people will buy.

pink_kiwi @iainandmary I’ve recently (as of yesterday, lol) started sending out offers to likers when I get a new like on an item. I should probably have been doing it that way a long time ago, but I always waited until there were a lot of likes on an item and it was Make a Deal Days. But I very rarely made any sales. So I happened to read that a lot of poshers make an offer within minutes, 20-30 min or a couple hours of receiving a like on an item.

pink_kiwi @iainandmary I’m not able to make an offer quite so quickly, but once I click on my newsfeed, I’m trying to make offers to likers on items I can when I get a like. So far it’s only been 24 hours and it hasn’t done anything for me, but I’m going to keep trying. People were saying that they make the majority of their sales that way and I make almost none, so I figured I’d try it. If you understand data and stats, the new My Closet Insights may help too.

pink_kiwi @iainandmary (I’m not good at any of that, but I can understand some of it.) Sharing your own closet is one of the other things to help with sales. I know I don’t share near as much of my own closet as I should, but sharing multiple times a day helps others to view your listings. And should get you more shares from others as well. I personally share other closets a lot too. I believe it helps to help others out and they help you with shares in return.

Oh, forgot to add, if you haven’t already, you can try using the new My Shoppers tool to make and send offers to people on bundles. I used it once last night. Didn’t get anything out of it so far, but maybe after getting used to it I’ll use it more.

pink_kiwi @iainandmary I’m just not very aggressive with trying to make sales I guess. I usually wait for the potential buyer to bundle what they want and then offer. But I may try using it more. Who knows. Lol.🤷🏻‍♀️😄

You are absolutely correct saying this Summer was good. I guess that’s why I thought I must be doing something wrong these past few weeks! Everything has pretty much come to a standstill!

pink_kiwi @iainandmary You are very welcome! 🙂 It’s definitely not you at all! Sometimes it gets slow on here for the majority of sellers. Other times just changing or trying something different may help. And definitely sharing! I know it’s very tough and can be unpredictable. I certainly get frustrated when I have no sales for a while.
