I wish I didn't have numerous issues including borderline personality disorder and schizoaffect disorder, but I do. I don't understand why anyone should tell me to "get over it" when I'm depressed. I wish it worked that way too.

I've had a complicated live, lived through addiction just barely a couple times and the primary factor with my head injuries and Meineres were gifts from exes. I've never had a relationship that wasn't highly abusive, but after being alone for the last 3 years I'm not sure I want anyone in my life. Idk, my mother says I'm too young to decide being alone.

@yourmakeupfairy You ARE too young to be alone, at that age i was partying non stop with younger guys, that are still calling me every night, they don’t get that the party is over and i want to be left alone, my addiction to alcohol was what gave me cirrosis and they gave me 6 months w/o a liver and kidney transplant, I survived I don’t know how, but i started drinking again after 3 yrs a few months back and i am sick again

We know ourselves more than anyone else ever could so there should be no shame in having chemical imbalances unless we are harming others, of course. @blushing_dahlia Yes love. Since I was 5 I've dealt with one thing or another. People, even my family members would judge, shame, and say "just a phase." I'm 46 now and I've battled just about everything I can think of. I feel alone in a crowd most of the time and rarely go outdoors; I know there have to be many others that endure as well. It truly is OK to just not be ok, within a reasonable time.

@blushing_dahlia I absolutely struggle with mania and depression, typically the latter and I've learned that I have to let them out. I would react so poorly, still do sometimes, but I'm learning more and more to just be and remove myself when provoked or whatever. The constant I depend on... my feelings/emotions will change.
