Made from a fabulous stretch denim that has the weight and sturdiness of regular denim but with a lovely amount of give and soft hand. mysecretvanity may i ask for hip and waist measurement? and the legnth of whole shorts, please. I'm a short girl and need to know if it'll look too long on me 😊

swinglindy @mysecretvanity Hi there, I added the size chart to the listing; the blonde model is 5’3” to give you an idea of the proportions of these shorts. I also took measurements of the actual shorts unstretched, the waist is just under 24” (my waist is 24” and they fit comfortably), hips measure 34” (my hips are 36” and they fit comfortably). The measurement chart I posted is very accurate in terms of the size range these should fit well. I hope this helps, thanks for your interest!

swinglindy Also, the cuffs are not stitched, so they can be rolled shorter or unrolled. The cuffed outseam length is 14.5”, uncuffed is 17.5”.

1940sfashion Do you think these would accommodate up to a 26 inch waist, or should I size up?

swinglindy @1940sfashion The denim does have stretch, and I can stretch the waist to just barely 26". However, it would be a very snug fit I think, so I would probably size up to the small. If you are familiar with the Vixen cigarette pants, the waistband on the shorts is definitely more true to size than her cigarette pants (which I find run a little big through the waist, due to the cut of the waistband).
