60's Gourmates Glo-Hill Serving Tray - Chrome Platter - 60's Dining - Tidbits

This is a very cool piece from the mid century era - reminiscent of Eames styling. This is a "Gourmates styled by Glo-Hill Canada" serving tray (and still has its sticker!). Glo-Hill was a Canadian Company from Montreal that produced high end chrome and bakelite items in the 1930 to 1970 era, and their pieces are currently making a huge resurgence in the home decor market. This long and slender chrome tray has the signature deep red bakelite handles and feet. It measures 15 inches long (including handles) and 5 1/4 inches wide at the middle. In very good vintage condition, this piece has very light scratches and wear marks.
