Rare all-black onyx left-facing Victorian-style Cameo brooch that can also be worn as a pendant. Most cameos are facing right which makes this one quite unique. In very good vintage condition. Some wear consistent with age (see photos) The black onyx cameo has a matte finish and sits on a polished onyx base Little golden flowers, each with 5 onyx stones, circle and adorn this wonderful piece of estate jewellery. The clasp works perfectly and is tight so it will not fall off. A must-have for any vintage jewellery lover. Would make a great gift and we will wrap it beautifully too!

rosewellsv Hi Kathy, Thanks for visiting my closet. Gold tone is a plating of a thin layer of gold onto a base metal such as nickel, brass, stainless steel, silver, or copper. Since some of the gold-tone has worn away and I can see a silver color underneath, I believe it is probably nickel. The brooch is 2.5" long x 1.75" wide. Have a great day!
