60's Tulip Midi Dress - Tulip Tunic - Size 6 - 8 - Cocktail Party Dress - Garden

This is a Jerry Marsch for Mardi Grass retro tulip dress. Fully lined, this dress has gorgeous tulips in fuschia and goldenrod yellow with bright kelly green leaves. There is a back zip, and the dress has an empire waist line. It falls above/at the knees, so it could be worn as a mini dress or as a tunic with leggings. There are many issues to this dress. The dress has an organza type overlay, and there are many little holes in this fabric (mostly near the hem) as well as issues where it is not perfectly sewn to the lining, and as such looks like holes (at the arm holes/neck). Finally, I had the dress shortened to make it more wearable for today's fashion, and the hem at the front is now bubbled. Please see the pictures for details of all these issues. The print is just so fabulous that I think someone could possibly fix these issues (make it a true mini dress to get rid of the holes and fix the hem bubble, thin the straps/sleeves) or just wear it as is till it literally just falls apart!! Please make sure to check the measurements so that you don't have any problems with the fit!! I would say this is a modern size 6 - 8.
