60's-70's Vintage Anson Aquarius Pendant Necklace with Original Chain Zodiac

An elegant Mid-Century statement piece, vintage Anson Premier zodiac pendant necklace representing Aquarius (January 20 – February 18). Anson Premier zodiac necklaces originally sold during the late 1960s through early 1970s, when astrology jewelry was very popular. At that time, Anson Jewelry Co. (based in Rhode Island, USA) was a respected mid-range maker of men’s and unisex accessories, producing quality gold- and rhodium-plated items sold through department stores like Macy’s and Eaton’s. These zodiac medallions were often sold individually or in small boxed sets. The “Premier” line denoted a slightly higher finish quality (better plating and detailing). Features a beautifully detailed embossed Aquarius water bearer design on the front, surrounded by a twisted rope border, with “AQUARIUS – ANSON PREMIER” engraved on the back.
