60s-inspired Retro Houndstooth Plaid Grey Long Sleeve Dress Silk/Wool L/XL

Umm, hello, Mad Men anyone (or for any Anglophiles -Endeavour)? This dress is so understated but the more you look at it the more you find! It's easier to list it: 1. Boatneck pintuck 2. Houndstooth 3. Check pattern 4. Plaid 5. Sixties silhouette dress 6. Straight skirt and back slit 7. Silk & wool 8. Size XL/L (check the measurements to see if you fit) Oh also the colours of the houndstooth plaid check pattern Background colour - grey - the grey does change in lighting (can look cool or warm) Check 1 - Olive green Check 2 - Light steel blue Check 3 - Dark forest green Flaws: The weave does pop out sometimes because there are so many colours. Check the last two picks. I was able to weave in several of them with a really tiny crochet hook but those flaws seem to be the ones that stick out to me. Zip works for me but it was a bit difficult to pull up the waist the first couple of times. Measurements: Shoulder to shoulder: 17" Pit to pit: 20.5" Waist: 14.5" Hips (approximate): 22" Length: 37" Sleeve length: 23" This is a woven dress, no stretch. Material: Shell: 82% silk, 18% wool Lining: No label Brand: Johnnie-O which is SUSPECT ok, but maybe this store bought it from a Sample Sale?
