Four buttons on the left side open up to take the shorts on and off. There is no zipper. Back pockets are not functional. Outer lace detailing has become slightly off-white from normal wear. I find they run a little large in the waist for a women's 8. There are no bely loops. Approx measurements are: 17" across the waist 4.25" inseam

_stephaniehall @elleinad82 there is no stretch to them, but the waist does run big for a size 8. I'm usually an 8 or 10 in jeans and they're too loose for me to wear.
