This vintage Coach purse is a definite classic! It boasts durable thick leather as you would expect from vintage purses from this brand. New purses from this brand are mostly made of vinyl and fabric. I find they have a tendency to fall apart but not the older purses like this one! It is in great shape except the front flap is sort of bent and needs to be flattened. Serial # H5D-5755 According to the above serial # this purse was manufactured August 1995 (H- Aug. & 5-1995) Note: please research first before questioning its authenticity, thanks. Love Coach? I am also selling another purse, a briefcase, key fob, wristlet, boots and more. disneygurl2u @penneyholder I am careful and I would appreciate you showing evidence before questioning a Coach item I am selling. Do you not notice that I have several Coach items for sale? My very first Coach item I have ever posted for sale is a briefcase that I cannot seem to sell well ever since good meaning people who jumped to conclusions without researching first reported it about 3 times as fake. After much research and not only proving it was real but sharing my steps

disneygurl2u @penneyholder Anyhow, Poshmark had finally agreed with me that it was indeed the real thing and luckily I no longer hear about people reporting it. How did I find out it was reported, by other poshers who agreed it was real. I showed evidence that it was indeed real. However, it has not sold but I get the occasional lowball offer. Perhaps those people who questioned its authenticity without asking me first or doing the proper research,

disneygurl2u Thinking that they are experts need to humble themselves first and consider they may not know for sure. Anyhow, please by all means show me your proof. It is comments like yours that can question a sellers credibility. However, in most cases Poshmark seems to known that the majority of items I am selling are real. I admit I had 2 questionable items I was not sure of that I took down but I have 100s or more postings!

disneygurl2u If you have actual evidence that my purse is not authentic then by all means please share. However, if you do not, it is an accusation. So please prove your case here. I in turn will do my research and demonstrate what steps I took (even if it takes months- however long it takes) to prove it is real as my credibility as a seller would then be questioned. Actually I love a challenge. Research is a hobby of mine and is a trait of intelligent people.

disneygurl2u Also in regards to where it was made, some Coach purses did not have the country of origin stamped inside in the creed. I can post article links if that will help you with your concerns or a general search can find this information.

disneygurl2u @penneyholder thank you for your reply. I understand your concerns but if You take a look at my briefcase posting, I spent about 3 months verifying it was authentic. I even wrote to Coach headquarters to get verification. I had it reported at least 3 times as fake! I showed all the steps I took, but continued hearing about well meaning poshers reporting it. I was upset but tried to maintain professionalism. It is hard when your items are questioned.

disneygurl2u However, you are right that there are fake Coach items out there. It is good to question authenticity. I once got a Vuitton belt used and thought it was real. I posted it but then Someone told me it was a fake. After some research I concluded he was right and I took it down.

If though there is ever anything I am selling is fake, sometimes it is hard to know 100% as there are some really good fakes, I do take the item down and do appreciate the posher who brought it to my attention as I want to be an honest seller. disneygurl2u @penneyholder you keep on sharing and eventually you will get more followers and people who like your items. The more you post to sell and the more you share ( your own items and other sellers) the closer you may become ambassador which is a status thing here. I am getting close but have much more sharing to do!

disneygurl2u @penneyholder I have been extremely successful. However the problem for me is I find unique items to buy as well! You want to get high ratings, mail items within 3 days, and “love notes” buyers writing how much they love their purchases as that is advertising in itself.

disneygurl2u @penneyholder check out my profile to get an idea. I have about a 4.9 rating and hundreds of love notes. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. Remember to know how low you are willing to go down on the price and be consistent. If you know your price is reasonable, remain firm. However as today is Closet Clear out day, that means if you lower an item’s price by 10% Poshmark will provide discounted shipping which is a great time to sell!

disneygurl2u @penneyholder parties are arranged by ambassadors and there is not always jean parties but there was one yesterday. If you become an ambassador, you can create a party to sell your items and invite all sellers to join. I cannot wait to be able to do that!

disneygurl2u @penneyholder I never see my items listed either as in a party, several people are posting Items they are sharing constantly so very unlikely you will see it however you may get poshers sharing your posts. There is a lot of sharing and that is a always a good thing to get your closet noticed and boost sales!

disneygurl2u @penneyholder one more thing to know about your posh name. If a new buyer gets on your Closet and wants to buy, your posh name can be a code for $10 off a first purchase! The buyer gets $10 discount and you later will get $10 credit on any purchase after they accept their purchase- a total win-win!

disneygurl2u @penneyholder remember as well Poshmark is a service and they take $3 off all sales of $15 or less and 20% of sales of $16 and up. Always take that into consideration when pricing your Items.
