Poshmark does not validate accounts or postings and because of that Scams have increased a ton lately From jewelry to handbags and watches.. *I will keep this post up for others that want to tag people who got blocked or for information** Us Poshers that have caught these people we get blocked on all their fake accounts so we know. We try and message all we can that "like" or comment to inform them so no one is out their hard earned money. Protect yourself. Tips: - Search by Title or words in title to see if there are duplicate listings by other scam accounts - Look at last active. If something new comes up and active was days ago. Red Flag - Ask for more pictures or videos and wait for them - Look for other Sales and feedback given We have to help eachother and Look out for one another.

krssmanagement We are now having these scammers commenting on our real listings. We call them out for scamming and they try to hurt us with commenting on our real listings saying we are scammers. This is getting ridiculous and again Posh does nothing and has not policy in place to check new accounts.

dkwilson Email ceo of poshmark and also there is company executives who have closet on poshmark .message them (than they are aware) I would think poshmark has a duty to make sure scammers closest are shutdown..I dont think they want media on this I would think as a company they have some type of protocol in place

krssmanagement @2luvcafe Hi. I just wanted to let you know just so you are safe. I have seen you commented on a lot of scammer rings and I just want to give you a heads up so you do not buy anything. We have a list of Poshers that have been reporting these people and trying to get this to stop. One scammer makes a lot of fake accounts and blocks us all on them. If their responses are just , yes, no ,ok and don't do anything.. Scam we know all these are because they have blocked us.

dkwilson You can google it will show up i believe ..However if you email CEO and Customer service than they are Aware of the problem and in my opinion should be putting if they havent already something in place Im glad to see they are being reported this way someone at Poshmark is fully aware

joej30035 I appreciate your posting. I have reported a ton of fakes and will keep reporting anything I come across to help stop fakes. its definitely upsetting, I've purchased fake Tifany by mistake thinking I'm buying a real- scammer. I think it will help if we all just keep reporting them all over!

fashionnv Thanks for posting this for everyone to see. I really *has* gotten bad, hasn't it? I noticed that the scammers accts are usually new with no sales and they have a habit of pricing just about everything in the $200 range. I report them but Poshmark needs to step up their game and hire some new staff to follow up on things. It has gotten ridiculous!

krssmanagement @fashionnv Yes it has. We all keep emailing poshmark about this. I agree they need more staff or software to make validation of an account better. All we can do is email them, report the scammers and hopefully someone will step up on the Poshmark side and do something.

krssmanagement @sidnie1023 Hi. Wanted to add you here because you were interested in a ring that is posted by a scammer. we do not want people to lose out their money and time. There has been a ton of scams in the jewelery sections and we have been letting Poshers know. The scammer will respond but only one word. The pictures they have are stolen from other listings. We have been blocked from all the scammers because we have been informing people. All we can do is report and let other poshers know now.

krssmanagement @seanlangley I add you because I'm blocked from all the fake accounts.. The bogg bag you bought is from a fake account.. You want to cancel it asap with posh and let them know its a scam account.. All their pictures are stolen from other poshmark people.

krssmanagement @gloria_lvrz Hi.. we added you here because you bought a Necklace from rubenbre3 which is a fake account even though they are responding you will not get your product. we have all been blocked from these scammers and we have been trying to notify people. We got sick of it and made Scam Alert postings because we are sick of people getting scammed. They will tape a diff address over the label and an empty box or something will be sent to diff address. We all have been through this mess

krssmanagement @sindy_otto I commented on them all so we shall see maybe it was deleted and repost. what I am seeing is new listings and the account hasn't been active in 4 days and comes up new. so who knows what is going on but Poshmark had a huge security issue now

krssmanagement @vixtina You are welcome....there are a few of us on here that look at jewelry daily so we kinda know or remember. Also when a new listing comes up and the user is new I search by key words. Yes unfortunately the scamming has become a norm and we try to help eachother. The scammer doesn't send the item they send an empty box to a different address but it looks like it's coming to you per the tracking.

krssmanagement @vixtina Then it takes forever for poshmark to help and respond and sometimes funds are released to the scammer and it takes weeks to fight w/ Poshamrk to get your money back. I was lucky long ago my post office caught the scam of taping over the address label
