Genuine Signed C Sebrini Mid Century Modern Cuff READ Description

NOTE 6 new images added 4/28/23 in reference to a question regarding “scratches” - again, for a bracelet that came to me unboxed, I’m shocked at how nearly perfectly it has weathered at least 50 years. There are no “major” scratches or cracks, only faint marks which appear to have occurred during buffing and are nearly invisible unless closely viewed with a loupe. This is still gorgeous- gleaming and stunning! Celina Sebrini (1913-2006) Internationally famed mid-century artist/jeweller, joined couture fragrance and beauty icon, Princess Marcella Borghese, creating sophisticated, timeless pieces for Borghese’s signature perfumes in late 69’ to the mid 70’s. Fashioned in either heavy silver plate or gold editions, with varying cabochon stones: Onyx, Coral, Dark Tigereye, Malachite and Obsidian, concealing a small solid perfume, making it a clever fashion accessory even after the scent was gone. Sales literature at the time also stated the scent compartment could be used for a photo locket. This cuff , the Sachetto Andiamo" is classic, sleek and understated to dress up/down; it will NEVER go out of style and is in near perfect condition after close to half a century; an absolute testament to quality. The hinged compartment opens/closes firmly. “Marcella Borghese" is clearly marked inside & signature "C. Sebrini" etched on the inner side. These in gold run $50-150; silver $125-200. 6" around, with a 1 1/8" opening. It should fit a 6-7” wrist well.
