VINTAGE PIERRE CARDIN for Lillie Rubin boutique/store (Lillie Rubin had its own free-standing stores for awhile) Estimated to be from the mid to late 1960s His space age period Authentic vintage No fabric tag. Feels like wool. VERY substantial weight & feel to the fabric. A weighty VERY WELL-CRAFTED garment Beautifully lined Leather lacing up the front (no tag but feels like leather) NOTCHED neckline & armholes (mod, futuristic touches) Black & green colorblock. The green is a dark, rich spruce / fir / pine / forest shade (pics taken with iphone 12) Hidden zipper up the back A Line shape to the dress **The 3RD FROM LAST photo is of the inside of the dress UNDER the lining - just wanted to show you how it is crafted No size tag. FITS MY MODERN-DAY SIZE 4 MANNEQUIN (she is 33"-23"-35") MEASUREMENTS (not stretchy fabric): chest pit to pit 17", across waist 15.5", across hips 17", across bottom hem flares to 24.5", length 34" EXCELLENT vintage pre-owned condition. Approx 50+ YEARS OLD. One teeny hole / flaw in the green wool fabric at back of neck/collar. The black wool fabric underneath appears to be intact. SEE LAST PHOTO.
