Bernie Dexter Maxine Dress in Red Gingham Size Extra Large - XL New without Tags (Bernie Dexter dresses do not have tags) New dress, never worn! I bought this dress direct from the vintage reproduction designer Bernie Dexter. It features a picnic style red and white gingham check print. The dress has a Peter Pan sailor collar, half sleeves, a gathered waist, a large flowy circle skirt, and zips down the front. It is a midi dress length on someone shorter, knee dress length if you're taller! Bernie Dexter is very sadly going out of business and this dress is no longer available, so it's a rare find! Would be fun to wear out to a Disney theme park day for a fun retro look. Would also be a very sweet 1950s style vintage outfit for a party, swing dance, Dapper Day, or VLV. Reminds me of dresses I have purchased from other vintage reproduction designers like Pinup Girl Clothing / PUG / Pinup Couture , Bettie Page , Collectif , Modcloth , Voodoo Vixen , Retrolicious , Lindy Bop , or Tatyana .
