Hey everyone!! I’m Kala (kay-la) — an independent woman building something from the ground up. After leaving my job at the end of September, I took a leap of faith and decided to bet on myself and start my own business. A few years ago, I hit what felt like my 50th rock bottom — homeless, addicted, and realizing I had lost my entire 20s to chaos. Turning 30 made something finally click. I knew I couldn’t keep simply existing when life still had so much purpose, opportunity, and meaning to offer. I gave myself another chance — and this time, it stuck. Today, I’m nearly two years sober, focused, and rebuilding my life one step at a time. Every item I list is part of that journey — a mix of my own pieces and soon, amazing finds from my small resale business, established October 2nd, 2025.
