Vintage Early 80s Seascape 1pc Swimsuit Romper XL

Seascape early 80s 1 piece swimsuit romper with Lily pad and flower detail on the front. The straps button closed and can be adjusted shorter or longer by choosing one of 3 button holes. The sides are smocked for flexibility in the bust and torso area. The bust is lightly lined but not padded. The shorts are lined. The inseam is 2.5 inches, waist measures approximately 17 inches straight across and the bust is 20 inches from armpit to armpit, keeping in mind the smocking for a little stretch. Personally I feel this could be worn both for swim or as a romper. The fabric feels more like poplin than swimsuit material that we are familiar with. The hem has fallen on one leg and needs to be re-tacked. it’s a minor repair but one that I have no aptitude for. There are thread loops at each hip for a belt that is not included. You can clip them or add your own belt. made in the USA. Back zip. The size on the tag is 18 however vintage sizing does not equate to modern sizing so please note the measurements.
