Purples with blues, pinks, and white sound just about right!

It helps those who haven't had a course in color theory. I chose lavender as a starting point. As you can see, there are a lot of ways to accent it, perhaps a few you hadn't thought of. Try lavender with different shades of blue; such as teal, sky blue blue, cobalt blue, denim blue, baby blue and gray-blue shades. The options are endless. Try adding in a third color, like pink, green, or black, and you're on your way! Try pastels and intense colors, too. Lavender looks beautiful with fresh greens, mint, sage and even dark forest green! Pinkish lavender shades look beautiful with dark espresso brown, plums, maroon or burgundy, grays and mauves.
