416renata @a_tatou read my post about "delivered" but never gets to your house! please share it too. I figured out couple more things about those fake accounts but I don't post it because bunch if them started following me and I think that they read and adjust so they are harder too spot but some if them are super obvious. They even complain to poshmark and my post are being taken down for validation of poshmark rules 🤯🤷‍♀️

a_tatou @416renata I'm actually not sure that these are real people behind a lot of these scam accounts. So it seemed to me that most of them aren't even active with others' accounts & closets. So it's pretty crazy if they're actually going into your closet & actively reporting your posts that warn about them! 😮 I didn't think they're THAT active on here!

shopperlust Also, be weary of people who ask if you can ship out IMMEDIATELY. They do this to bypass the system. Make sure you wait at least 3 hours before shipping anything. Poshmark allows 3 hours to cancel an order

monalisa1103 @416renata also I watermarked my picture of my item so they can no longer use it as their own . It’s super easy to do with any photo editing app. Check out my RC listing 😊

bansidhe62 @416renata happened to me Went to the went to the USPS and reported it right away. They said “why would a bracelet be put in a 5lb box and $7 is not the fee .” She also told me we see these scams out of San BERNADINO- CA and that’s where this was shipped from Spent a week reporting it to Poshmark only formal letters and ridiculous emails back from them and I went to C C company & disputed the charge - that exact same day Poshmark canceled & refunded money and deplatformed the seller

bansidhe62 @416renata thank you. ALWAYS use the CC with buyer protection for any purchase - POSHMARK is very very slow to correct this in my experience

the_b_spot Customers are scammers as well. The ones who ask thousands of questions about an item most likely will dispute the transactions and/or file a claim with Poshmark. Their goal is to get the item, get refunded ( by their bank or Poshmark), keep the item. Some even wear the item before the return period…..

It’s scary that unfortunately more often than not Posh does nothing to prevent this from happening or oftentimes has their hands tied. I am a seller but I also frequently purchase many items on Posh and these scams sometimes hold me back from purchasing through Posh. Where can I find a seller’s ratings?

416renata @stoaway3 go to someone's profile and click ABOUT you will see how many satisfied buyers they have. if they sold 30 items ( just an example) And there is no love notes or any comments about the purchasing you know there is something fishy going on...... more you look at them , more clues you find.

lmlepore1 @bansidhe62 yes PM is getting worse!!!! The people in authentication ruined my fendi bag by folding it in four and mailing it to the buyer. Then PM reprimanded me for not disclosing damage when THEY damaged it. I had to fight with them for a long time

416renata @lmlepore1 maybe, but this one new, I contacted her, and she just wasn't responding. I see that she doesn't have any listing now. I think PM froze her account. They did give me my money back. This was a couple of weeks after I accepted the ring. So, I am grateful. Maybe they got too big and can't control the situation.

amvet1969 @416renata that's not the half of it, I've reported at least 400 purse listings yesterday and again today. found several accts that appear to be inactive accts that cane active yesterday and today posting the same items after years of nothing. scary the two accounts today are joycelinn and tamararhames and I think another but I'll have to look.

416renata @amvet1969 it's getting out if control! I saw on lv too. Sometimes poshmark even promotes fake accounts! One of my post was deleted because the scammers reported me to poshmark for bullying!!!!! can you belive it? Then some fake account tried to buy jacket from me, at that point I got scared. I don't want them to know my address.

purple_kittens Thank you for being such a warrior. I have been ripped off and scammed by so many Sellers, I actually quit Poshmark two times but I keep coming back. My son actually got ripped off for $450 like this on e——Bay. he did not get his money back because it said “delivered”. They did it through UPS. I didn’t know how to help him. I just got really angry that people would do that. It just makes me sick, so thank you for everything you’re doing to bring awareness I very much appreciate it.

justgigi @416renata oh my gosh, I LOVE YOU! I’ve been blocked cling and reporting these fake accounts this past month or so. They never have a profile pic, their closet name is just a random group of letters and numbers that NO ONE could possibly remember, they are following roughly 140 people and have 30-90ish followers, i.e. idiots who will blindly follow them back. I’M SO SICK OF THEM!!!
