Very old 1800s era golden locket with original tin type photos inside! A beautiful young woman on one side with hand-tinted rosy pink blush on her cheeks On the other side, a handsome bearded man wearing a bowtie. Two people who lived and loved, their images preserved together for all time in this locket. The photos are behind glass. Behind the photos is a textured brown paper insert. Pocket watch style locket design with engraved bullseye design. It does show its age with lots of wear and patina, but lovely as is. Measures approx 1 5/8 long from top of loop to bottom of locket.
