@lifetoshortshop they are coated to prevent tarnish and discoloring. ive had a set for 3 years and i keep it hung up on my wall with other necklaces and it is totally fine. not to mention i routinely clean all my jewelry even if its just dawn and warm water and hand polishing. that always extends the life of any jewelry and makes it look the best.
