Oh Boy! This upcycled and repurposed jean jacket is such a bright addition to the shop! I can smell the churros wafting through the air just by looking at it! I sure wanted to make the Mouse proud with this piece. I chose this vintage style fabric that features Mickey Mouse throughout the years for the front panels and top back panel of the jacket. I then embroidered his face into the right chest piece of the jacket. The back of the jacket has a large Mickey head applique that has been hand cut and applied to an iron on backing before being securely sewn into the jacket. The name, Mickey Mouse has been embroidered in classic Disney script font and I wanted to capture the classic colors from the Mouse himself onto those pieces as you can see. Each button on the jacket is hand painted and sealed to also match the colors of Mickey.
