@vdnapoli I wear usually between 8.5 to a 9 (i am right on the middle cusp) & these are too large. that may help! Had to purchase these in 9 instead. THis may help. Have to say they are one of the most favorite combats I own bar none.

thank you @blingyourworld -- seems like a 9.5 would work for me if im planning to wear thick sock with them (which I would be). Yes, Aquatalia is up there for quality and comfort!!!

@vdnapoli I just sent an offer. Do you want me to give you a measurement of the bottom soles. Aquatalia for me usually is pretty good for size, but I always go up a bit in size- so I can wear my own sole inserts. these are so well made & comfortable I didn't have to add comfort soles to my 9s. but the 9s ended being my size rather than the 9.5 but as I said I am normally 8.5-9 & 9 was right on in these for me.

thanks for the offer! that might be helpful actually @blingyourworld ... it is always a risk buying shoes here (despite the great price and good condition) because I cannot return them if they don't fit unfortunately. I have a pair of another Aquatalia style coming in the mail from Nordys in the next few days and was going to make my decision on purchase then. For reference, I purchased the Karen Weatherproof Tall Embossed a few years ago from Aquatalia and the 9.5 were spot on with a sock.

These are fabulous boots, but if I wear a boot in this style it’s when we are riding and I wear my HD riding boots. Just out doing whatever, I usually wear a western short boot that I can wear boot cut jeans with, or skinny jeans that I can tuck in. I am definitely a boot or bootie girl.
I should really start selling, but I know me, and I’d never get anything mailed. I am terrible about going to the Post Office. I have no patience for the lines!!!

@billsjackbillsj I am telling you I have a ton of laceup boots, but these are the finest boots I have ever ever ever owned. for comfort & for looks. I can send you a good offer on everything. are fabulous for going out. Every time I go out in them, I get compliments ALWAYS, only other pair is a Johnny was embroidered bootie which are long discontinued. But it is your decision, I think tho your style is my style.

@blingyourworld you’ve definitely got me thinking, as you know I love your closet. You probably would have talked me into them just now, but they’re to big!!! I wasn’t paying close enough attention. They’re a size 9.5. I wear an 8.5 and sometimes a 9. These will be to big. Let me go check out the Johnny’s you mentioned.

@billsjackbillsj As I said I had to get a half size larger in these for my foot - but I often put in spenco inserts for the extra comfort when walking - don't think i put them in these they were so comfortable -- I bought an extra pair in a size larger but decided to sell, I have a black one &also a taupe pair for myself that I wear constantly.

@billsjackbillsj I don't know what it is about these booties but they are my #1 go to over everything I have or have ever worn. anyway, if you don't think they will fit you - a valid point as I said I wear an 8 sometimes an 8.5 & had to take a size 9 in these

@billsjackbillsj No only this closet! the johnny was booties I wear all the time (dressier occasions) & decided not to sell & they are my 2nd favorite bootie from these. they are Impossible to find, barely sold 1 season by JW. partially embroidered amazing. But was just saying these are my favorite then those.

@billsjackbillsj my fav thing in my closet you can check is the G. Star jacket khaki & the faux fur short sleeved long vest. for everywhere & at the house. you cannot see it but it is like a luxury super soft blanket - not sure it is your style, but debated on keeping it & wearing it thru the holidays. I get headaches so love to layer with long vests. & the hand spun wool vest for bags I would have to give a shout out to the silver eve bags, totally in love w Fleur de lis sterling cuff

Oh, and me in a velvet hat? At one time I loved wearing hats, but don’t wear them anymore. My autoimmune disease causes me to get hot very easily. Lows this evening is 49, and we’re taking our Harley out! When I disappear off PM it’s when I’m having a bad flare up. The right meds finally, fingers crossed, finally has me in a good place…took long enough.

@blingyourworld My favorite clothes are my fall and winter wardrobe. There is nothing better to me than pairing the right top, sweater, wrap or jacket with the right pant, and most favorite is the perfect boot. I love mixing and matching. Of course the accessories are crucial, as you definitely know!!! I love to travel north when cold so I am able to do this. I get chances down here, but not enough. I would be much better suited for life in New England!!!!
