Authentic Icelandic lopapeysa sweater. Beautiful burgundy color with earthy green clover pattern. No size, but would fit a medium: 18” across bust and 23” length. Worn once and in excellent condition. Similar to what you'd find at the Nordic Store!

belleco @noctisequi Thank you! One more question- do you know if this is the regular lopi wool or is it the thinner, lighter weight one?

noctisequi @belleco I bought it at a little shop that advertised itself as selling authentic lopapeysas, but the sweaters in the shop (including this one) didn’t have tags indicating the fabric content or care instructions. Do you know if the lopi wool has a distinct texture or something along those lines I could check for?

belleco Okay! They’re both lopi wool, one is just thinner than the other so it tends to have a more delicate knit and is not as warm. Do you recall if this one generally looked/felt like the others in the shop? The thicker wool is the more common of the two.
