Antique Staffordshire William Adams Palestine Mulberry Transferware 9 1/4" Plate Impressed ADAMS Mark Circa 1836-1864 Scalloped edges with scenic vignettes on the rims with the man on a dark horse. The center scene is a man on a dark horse with a tent-like gazebo with a river in the background with domes and mountains. There are several people all dressed in Persian costume. Diameter - about 9 1/4 inches Gently used with some utensil marks. Little roughness on edges. Clear, bright colors. No crazing. Great condition for the age of this fine plate.
