I have a friend who takes in seniors & the worse of the worse, I don't know how she does it. I'm a huge animal lover & have rescued (currently have 3) but to foster takes it to another level, I get too attached & not strong enough so may God bring you extra Blessings for all you do! shoeshoed @poshertori That's so true, I'm that way toward elderly & have given my time to the elderly. It's just so disgusting to see when people get rid of senior dogs to get puppies. Maybe my next rescue will be a senior instead of younger one.😉

poshertori @shoeshoed If you have a heart for the elderly, you definitely should! Also check with your local shelter. Some shelters will foster senior dogs to senior people. If you work with elderly people, this may benefit them to have a pet companion. That way the pet gets to live out their lives in a home, but the shelter maintains ownership and pays for medical care and food. If you foster one senior dog, you’ll be hooked! 😘
