This is a brown leather coach racer jacket/ bomber bomber jacket with gold hardware and turn lock closures. I got this from coach anywhere from 15-18 years ago. I wore it 1-2 times. Immaculate condition. Kept in temperature controlled room in a garmet bag. The leather and hardware is in the identical condition since it was purchase. I have a large chest and just can’t close it. The leather has not dried out and has the identical buttery texture from when I got it. The zips on the arm have a single longer tassel. This is INSANELY rare. It was hard to find when I got it. I cannot find a single listing of this jacket or any other preloved marketplace. There are some newer coach racer jackets with button closures in a much lighter leather, however this jacket reflects the superior craftsmanship of coach during that time and is a much thicker heavier leather. At that time, coach was rejecting 70% of their leathers, using only 30% of the finest leathers on the market. I haven’t bought from coach in a very long time and do not know if their manufacturing process has changed. With any vintage couture, the craftsman ship, the condition, age, and availability determine the value. And like any designer, as the age goes up, so does the quality. For any designer, The materials, hardware and manufacturing process 20 years ago have no parallel to what is done today. Not in a rush to sell and will politely ignore low balls.
