Professionally Framed Original Ink and Watercolor by Noted Cherokee Artist John Dee Smith. I purchased this 5” by 6” work on deckled heavy art paper at Indian Territory Art Gallery in Sapulpa Oklahoma in 1994. Shortly after I had it professionally framed in Chicago. It is triple matted, with shiny black wood frame, ready to hang. Overall size is 11” by 12”. Have adored this vibrant piece but ready to pass on to a new owner who will appreciate its haunting beauty. Online I found the artist passed in 2013 and he was honored at the Cherokee Heritage Museum in Saunooke Village, North Carolina. Will ship with care.
