Fabulous velvet uppers with embossed 1960s paisley design. A timeless style, steeped in fashion heritage. Dr Martens found the fabulous intricate emboss pattern on an old fabric card for Vintage Victorian gothic curtains. Goodyear welted, Air-cushioned (Airwair) sole - sewn together, not merely glued, like many other footwear constructions. This together with the Dr Martens Z welt-stitch and heat sealing process, makes it unique to Dr Martens. The sole is oil and fat-resistant, offering good abrasion and slip resistance. 8 eyelets with contrast black laces. Black loop to back to help ease boots on and off. 1460 8 eyelet boots are a classic and with paisley velvet uppers it gives a fresh edge.\ These are new and I tried them on and will also fit size 6.
