Signed by the Tonala Mexican folk artist and award winning ceramic artist and potter, Carlos Villanueva Carlos villanueva studied under masters Jorge wilmot, Jose Bernabe, and Ken edwards. Won the National ceramic prize of mexico in 1978 for best artisan. Price reflects slight imperfections on glazing due to age. Fun Fact: Mr. Villanueva has some of his ceramic pieces in the Regional Ceramic Museum in Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico.
