Handmade Wall Art! Acrylic Painting on Canvas Board. Titled: Abrasion

Colorful abstract painting, but not too bright to suit a neutral room! The neutral background is hard to see with all of the action going on, but it gives this painting much needed balance. The effects were created with an old bandsaw blade, needles, and dull razors. Only the light peach background was actually created using a brush. This is another therapeutic piece whose meaning comes from a challenging life event. My hope is that by expressing my thoughts through art that others will find joy and beauty in my work. Canvas board is a thinner alternative to stretched canvas. It looks wonderful hung straight on the wall, but is also thin enough to be framed.
