Sterling silver (.925) charm in the shape of a whale fin. Measurements are included in the photos (I had the charm on my jewelry board - the spacing is one inch). The hole (for a necklace or bracelet) is extremely large. I purchased this at a local jewelry store in Kennebunkport, Maine! Perfect for a necklace or bracelet. It is in excellent condition with no/minimal scratches. Does not come with a chain or bracelet.
