Emmett is a happy, fun & amazing boy! He will be 3 yrs in March. The request for injections to administered in clinic was denied (they were supposed to be once a month until 5yrs & then twice a month for the rest of his life). They will revisit this later.
They are meeting with an new doctor in integrative medicine. Fingers crossed this brings new ideas for treatment.
His allergist specialist has him allergic to pretty much everything. So when I try to explain this disease to people, picture of the boy in the bubble. π’π₯Ί
My son & his wife, are amazing parents, theyβre doing a wonderful job finding a balance with all of this. Iβm so proud of all of them π₯°
Emmettβs Blood Disease is Eosinophilia (ESO) his body produces too many white blood cells. Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is also what he suffers with from inflammation.

@ginasgems4you They are putting him under to scope down his throat to his Stomach, to determine area most centered around, either way he will have to be on a very strict diet the rest of his life. By producing too many white blood cells, certain foods trigger him to vomit. They found it very early, most children are not diagnosed until 5 yrs +

Just getting over a stomach bug this week so no fun π€’π₯΄ Completely out of old place as of this last week now to just work on what remains of unpacking now that weather is slowly getting better. Emmett saw a specialist last week & goes for a procedure on the 19th so we will hopefully know more after that. So far we are all doing good. Thank you very very much for your prayers π₯°

Praying for your grandson. π Itβs so painful to see our kids or grandkids suffer in any way! My 5 year old special needs grandson is terminal. We donβt know how long we have with him. The thought of loosing him is too much! He has a lot of medical issues including brain atrophy. He is the sweetest and happiest little boy ever despite everything he goes through.
