Authentic Loretta Dress from House of CB... What to Look For: - Brand label sewn in top portion of dress with correct font. - Label can be cut in two, this does not negate authenticity. - Brand label will show size circled. If it has a generic label of S, M or L only it may be a fake. ***Unless older design! (see pic 13)*** - Fabric care tag found inside the skirt of the dress. - Fabric care tag will show the size of the dress on the front and the name of the dress on the back. - If seller refuses to show these details in pics, be mindful that item may be fake. - Dress fabric is thick, opaque and has little stretch (i.e. not shiny, see through or cheap) - Corset top shows boning, keeps it shape and is sewn into the bust without ripples in the fabric. - Top of neckline/bust meets at a point near both shoulders/sleeves. - Loretta does NOT run large (Runs true to size if not somewhat small) NWT - item will have dress tag attached to brand label and security rope secured around entire dress. 🚩Red Flag: Seller refuses to upload picture of actual item for sale and ONLY uses promotional photos. ellen111200 @jaynelena It’s crazy because it’s tons of these dresses on here listed by one seller I won’t mention the name but has a ridiculous amount of these dresses in different colors and sizes. They won’t post actual pictures of the dresses or house of cb tags.

musicformen I believe my recent purchase meets all the criteria, and it def doesn't look like the low quality Ali Express, but my clean care tag has some text in all caps and PO is diff (mine is red medium Loretta). should I be worried? all t other info checked out and matched.

_elenascloset @smithavish When you get the dress DO NOT accept it before inspecting it thoroughly. I recommend that you create a listing with pics of the dress and mark it "not for sale". Then tag me and I will give you my opinion on its authenticity. (FYI. If it is a possible fake, PM will require the seller to prove it's authenticity. This is usually done by providing a receipt from the original store purchase.)

smithavish @jaynelena what does it mean if it says that no such number for usps exists? I had shipped the dress to the seller on Wednesday and when tracking the package on USPS it said that it returned to the sender because of a wrong address; however I used the shipping label poshmark sent me so I’m confused

smithavish @jaynelena i’m not sure. It’s an actual address but on google maps when I typed it in, it didn’t show me a picture of a house or apartment or anything. But I had gotten this prepaid shipping label from poshmark so I’m confused as to how this could have happened.

_elenascloset @smithavish it could be a simple error or the seller purposely used an address that cannot accept deliveries. I recommend contacting Poshmark asap and letting them know. It's not your error so PM and the seller need to fix this so you can get your money back.

smithavish @jaynelena I got issued the refund! I had emailed poshmark support and they were pretty quick in issuing it to me and cancelling the order. I’d advise other people not to buy from the particular seller I had gotten the dress from though. I appreciate all your help!

_elenascloset @leobaby87 because House of CB sells damaged or slightly flawed garments at a reduced price to help eliminate waste. these garments are not meant to be considered the same as their new with tag, unflawed garments. therefore, these cut tag dresses are still authentic - they just happen to have a flaw of some sort.
