Gorgeous vintage estate RARE 1920s Art Deco CAMPHOR GLASS tassel gold tone pendant necklace. Details: 28"L chain; 3" pendant. Screw barrel clasp. Double linked gold tone metal chain. Faceted center crystal stone. Unsigned Beautiful vintage condition for age. Camphor glass is very nice, clean and bright. Glass is a bit off-set on one corner, original to the piece. creitler Do you know any information regarding the metal? Is the center stone a diamond?

calendar_girl @creitler Many pieces from the 1920's were not stamped with the metal type. The metal is in such beautiful condition I believe it is more than likely gold-filled. I have not had the center stone tested for hardness so I am not sure of that. My experience with Camphor necklaces are that some had diamonds set into them, some white sapphire, and some Austrian crystal. This looks like (because of size) it might be white sapphire.
