Portia & Scarlett PS21208 Size 4 Hot Pink Strapless Sequin Long Trumpet Mermaid

Never worn size 4 hot pink Portia & Scarlett PS21208 fully sequined strapless trumpet/mermaid gown. This dress was altered due to the sizing in the top portion of the dress (just below the bust area & up) being small compared to the rest of the dress. A size 2 hugged my daughter like shown in the pics of the model but we couldn’t zip the top 2-3 inches of the dress & she’s only a 32 B cup. The alterations were done down the sides of the waist, hip to the upper thigh area to regain the shape of the size 2 & model pics. This is a extremely long dress & my daughter wanted to keep the look of the bottom flaring out on the floor but we did shorten the front of the trumpet so she could walk in it. She’s 5’ 3.5” & had on 4” heels when the seamstress was seeing how much it needed to be taken up in the front so that she didn’t step on it (she altered it so that the part she took up in the front gradually blended with the back of the trumpet that was not altered. The dress is still long enough to fit someone taller than my daughter with heels on since she wanted it to still puddle out on the floor but not so much that she couldn’t walk. The fabric of the dress have stretch. If Portia & Scarlett made a size 3 in this dress it would have fit perfect. After being altered I would say it’s between a 2 & 4. A fitted size 2 in Sherri Hill fits her like a glove & she has a 4 in the other Portia & Scarlett I have listed. This was her backup dress in case the other one didn’t arrive on time.
