This beautiful vintage jacket was purchased in Japan. My father traveled extensively for his job. He went to Japan many times. My mom would accompany him sometimes, & on one of those trips she bought this jacket. It’s in perfect condition considering it’s from the late 60’s or very early 70’s. Although it’s labeled a Size L, it would best fit a Size M.

claudisnook @rfent724 Hi Roberta! I hope you’re feeling better today. Take 600 to 800 ibuprofen & 500 Tylenol every 6 hours. It works great. Make sure you have food in your stomach. Even if it’s a glass of milk, so your stomach is coated. Let me know how you’re doing! Claudia

rfent724 @claudisnook I have been taking that and seem to be better. Thanks so much for your response. It's interesting how the Posh shows will sometimes have people on to help someone out. It's a great platform for multiple things!!. Where are you located?

claudisnook @rfent724 Sorry it took me to this morning to answer. I had to exit Posh quickly last night. We have an elderly Yorkie with severe anxiety. He was right next to me, but he was anxious, so I had to attend to him.

rfent724 So sorry to hear about your yorkie.. Is he on meds? Dogs with anxiety can be so difficult but loveable. We have a beagle and of course love her dearly! She is a handful when it comes to food!

claudisnook @rfent724 He’s on Trazodone, which helps. He can’t hear, & doesn’t see well. The anxiety started when his hearing went. Very healthy other than that. He’ll be 15 in July. We’ve had 3 labs & 3 yorkies. Only one lab lived to 15. Lost 2 labs & a Yorkie to cancer. One Yorkie to heart disease. I have to have someone stay with him if we go out. Needless to say, we don’t go out much. Lol! I retired 3 years ago & the last year & 1/2 we haven’t been able to do much. It is what it is. He’s a good boy.

claudisnook @rfent724 Love her name! How old is she? I’m pretty dog savvy since we’ve had dogs since early 1987. How are you feeling?

rfent724 @claudisnook She will be 4 in July. We adopted her from a woman who heard about her from a shelter in Georgia. We had a mixed beagle before her who looked mostly beagle. She died when she was 8 but I don't think she was on the right meds. I cried every day and night for 4 months She's buried in our back yard with my sister's first dog Snickers who was a dream and very funny! There's a fence around the site and we planted 2 butterfly trees that when in bloom will attract butterflies.

claudisnook @rfent724 I’m sorry you lost your 1st dog at such a young age. When we lost my 🩷 dog Mr Mulligan ( lab ) in 2010 at age 8, it took me a year to get over grieving for him. Bless you for adopting a shelter dog. I advocated for shelter dogs for 6 years on social media. I gave it up in 2018 as it was effecting me emotionally.

claudisnook @rfent724 I helped a lot of dogs, which was a blessing. It’s worse now, ppl dumping their pets due to this high inflation. So sad! Did you attend Lauren’s show last night? I didn’t as I don’t need anymore clothes or jewelry. If I are still working it would be different. My closets are packed! I love Lauren. Such a lovely person! BTW- are you experiencing less mouth pain?

claudisnook @rfent724 But I’ll still attend her shows now & then. Everyone is so nice!

rfent724
rfent724 @claudisnook Yes, less mouth pain. Thank goodness I did follow Lauren last night because I love most of her things and her prices are so great. However, I do think I have enough "stuff" . My problem is she's going to Mexico next week I think and she has connections everywhere. The jewelry in Taxco can be stunning and I'm a sucker for well-crafted sterling silver!!! If my honey sees one more package from Posh he will explode!!

london653 @claudisnook what is the material of this jacket? Also what are the bust and length dimensions?
Apr 15Reply
claudisnook
claudisnook @london653 Good morning. There isn't a material label in the jacket. It was purchased in Japan during one of my late fathers business trips in the late 1960's. I'm not sure the Japanese ppl labeled that in their jackets. It's a brocade material. Pit to pit is 20 inches & the length is 24 inches. I equate it to a modern day size medium. I'd be happy to answer anymore questions.

claudisnook I would also consider it an oversized small. I wouldn't wash this when it's needs to be cleaned ( it's clean now ), but would dry clean it.

claudisnook @rfent724 Lauren stated she would have a show yesterday. Then one was planned for today planning to start a short time ago. At the last minute the show notification disappeared. Do you know what’s up?

claudisnook @rfent724 She probably does. Especially if she’s in Mexico. I’ll send her a message. Thanks Roberta!
