Vintage Art Nouveau (1920s or earlier) Large “Piano Shawl” Peacock Bird Motif with Silk Fringe, Black Background I’m not sure what the fabric content is, printed on one side, colors are much more subdued on the reverse side. The birds are just gorgeous in their details. Black background with soft muted shades of lavender and mustard. Measures aprox 38” x 41” with fringe going beyond and extending 4”. So versatile as a garment or in your home decor- unique treasure. Not going to find it anywhere else! Some of the silk fringe is missing and reflects the age of the piece. Otherwise condition is excellent.
