1stopfashions @posh_patsy hi there yes for sure the waist sits higher than normal and it’s a stretchy waistband with lots of stretch to it . -The small is bust 15” and waist 11” before stretch and upto 16” with stretch . -the medium is bust 16” , waist 11” with stretch to 16” . . Please keep in mind this band does not sit on your hips , it sits in your mid area . There is no material tags but it’s like a soft , stretchy textured material which is light weight and cool to the touch great for summer weather .

posh_patsy @1stopfashions thank you for the info, but I don’t think I would like the elasticized waist at that position. If I were to buy it would have to be large based on these measurements.

1stopfashions @posh_patsy no worries if it helps the measurements of the top of the chest to waist is 9” which sits at the bottom of the rib cage /top of belly button like high rise pants. It is a very comfortable fitting dress ! Thanks for stopping by :)
