Vintage 50's party dress with detachable skirt. This is a very well made dress with fabulously unique detail! Beautiful acetate brocade fabric has a neat, crisp hand. The dress has a back zip closure The coordinating skirt has attached netted tulle and hook/eye closure. There is no size tag as this was probably a custom made dress so please use these measurements laid flat to determine fit. Dress: Length 38 Pit to pit 15 Waist 24 Hip 16 Across bottom 18 Skirt: Length 24 Waist 12.5 Hip 18 NOTE***you will need to have a seamstress add snaps to keep bows in place. The other issue is shown in photos and you’ll need to zoom in. There is an area approx 2” X 1” on bow where design of fabric weave was melted with an iron. There is no burn mark but the design of the weave is now flat in that area.Not exactly an easy fix but a skilled seamstress could take the bow off and turn it around. Otherwise in great condition for age of dress! Clean with no odors.
