This gorgeous bowl is up-cycled from a vintage wood bowl and handmade decoupage with ads from the 1980’s. Titled “ Bowl of Conspicuous Opulence” it depicts the “decade of greed” that was the 80’s. The inside of the bowl shows a dog covered in jewels and the backside is a woman in curlers covered in jewels. The edges of bowl are covered in 24 carat gold leaf and the entire bowl has been coated with 30 coats of lacquer. Display only, not for food.
One of a kind piece of art. Display on stand, hang on wall, place on coffee table, hold jewelry on dressing table. Beautiful conversation piece!

So, you’ve got to dig down deep where that faith is and put this, ALL of it in His hands. The lost money, the unjust treatment from those who should’ve been helping you, the cancer, the depression, all of it. He is the only one who can help you at this point. So let Him. Try to be calm, Moon. Stop hashing and rehashing what has happened. Don’t let it suck one more breath from you. While you are praying, stop and listen.

Tell Him you are at rock bottom, you have no viable options, no where to turn. Then stop and listen. Give Him time to bring peace to your mind and heart. Tell Him you will do whatever it takes but you don’t know what that is. Sometimes, I have to sit by the side of my bed because my knees get tired but I stay there until He answers me.

There may be no Justice for this horror in this lifetime but He promises He will make up all that we’ve lost. Be willing to accept that answer if by legal means things can’t be made right for you. Your health is the most important thing! I would be devastated if you weren’t here! You’ve become such a good friend, I love you and I would miss you desperately!

You have to get well!! Stress and cancer don’t go well together so you have got to let a lot of this crap go. Let God handle it. In His way and His time. I need your address. @juliekattke I did! And the other ones in my closet. I just sold that one. They’re my passion right now. I used to make and sell them years ago but stopped when we moved from Dallas to Colorado. Now that I’m forcibly retired (severe PTSD from being a victim advocate for our PD) it is something that I enjoy doing again.

@kozmk109 It is a bowl. The inside of the bowl is the dog image and the outside and bottom of the bowl is the woman blowing a bubble. The bowl can be displayed on a stand and then you can see both sides. The entire bowl is covered in images. Hope that helps!

@kozmk109 They are all displayable. They can stand on a large plate stand, as shown in the pics here and that way you can see both sides. Also, they can be hung on a wall with just one side visible. The Chanel inspired vase is awesome because it can be displayed with both sides showing. It’s gorgeous!!
