J crew Collection smocked cotton poplin dress in ratti midnight paisley

Lovely 100% cotton poplin that can be worn off the shoulder **this item has been altered** the elasticized portion in the middle was ridiculously long, practically from underboob to top of legs so I had it professionally altered, also at a ridiculous cost, to match similar styles of J Crew dresses I have (and now it does not highlight a less than flat belly) It is so cute but just not right on me 😭 First and last photos are of the original dress proportions
