Linden Clocks (2) Vintage West German & Newer Japan ~ Two clocks that are probably separated in time by about 100 years & should be considered to be in NON-WORKING condition. > Vintage alarm clock: AKA a "Blessing Clock" marked West Germany on the back & front & Linden Quartz on the front. One of the hands has fallen off. Roman numerals are accented by green glow-in-the-dark markings (2 are missing), as are the hands. Face of the clock embellished & there is a band of filigree style brass(?) around the circumference of the clock. Clock still stands, but base is bent. The face of clock is covered by what appears to be original hard plastic dome (marred by sticker residue that I did not try to remove). Two screws missing from the back, but winding key intact. A nice vintage item for clock collector who likes a repair project or for general décor on a shelf with other vintage items. > The more current, brass clock is a Linden "carriage clock" w/brass handle & a brass case w/ a bevel edge front cover. The clock has a white face with black Roman numerals & black hands w/gold tone second hand & the clock stands on bracket feet w/surface protector. Face marked Linden, Quartz, Japan. Back of clock marked "No. 4RE862 Japan" & has alarm knob & on & off button. Requires a AA battery. There appears to be a missing key as I am not certain how the time would be set. Face of clock has same green glow-the-dark markings as the older one. ~Thanks for looking! Please ask if any questions.
