Is this a cool fabric in hot weather? I know polyester tends not to be, but sometimes they make newer weaves that are supposed to be more breathable.

@therosewithin This maxi is new, it has never been worn. But, I can tell you that the feel of the material, feels cool to the touch. The material is not heavy weight nor is it flimsy. It is the perfect weight for spring and summer.
