Hope & Peace

This piece is made primarily from Japanese seed beads, it also contains freshwater pearls, crystals, and semiprecious beads. It is made using the brick stitch to form the butterfly wings, each wing took approximately 20hrs to create, each bead is chosen and individually placed while trying to stick to a pattern so that both wings match. The ginkgo leaves are also a variation of the brick story, and free form peyote was used as the length of the necklace which creates the feel of a tree branch. This is currently able to be worn at two different lengths. I can leave it so it can be at two different lengths or make an adjustment so that it will only be worn at one length. The option is open. 20hrs per wing,each bead chosen and woven into place to create pattern.
