Created in the 1980's by Eduardo Rambaud, this vintage piece was designed as a belt but I preferred it as a necklace! It's bold, fun to wear and sure to get comments. The quality is undeniable and it's in nice condition! The disks alternate from round (over an inch diameter) to oval (about 1 1/2" x 1 1/4") and have a distressed look rather than being smooth. The metal colors of gold rimming with gunmetal gray centers is pretty and the hammered effect creates interest. The belt is about 41" overall: 34" of disks and about 7" of gunmetal chain. There's a sturdy clasp to close the piece. The only flaw noted is wear on the little heart shaped charm by the clasp, shown in last picture. The underneath of each disk has the Eduardo Rambaud signature logo. Belt or necklace ... either works!
